Client: Acrelec

Open Position: Frontend Developer
Candidate
Adrian was known to Sorin as a good professional (and a nice person). While still being hired at a company he has been working at for several years, he was not actively applying to other jobs, but Adrian understood the importance of keeping an eye open on the market. He ideally wanted to join a company where he was able to face diverse challenges and be engaged in new types of projects.
Company
Acrelec is a software company that stands out in the industry through the uniqueness of its products. They tailor their software solutions to hardware that one can only find within their brand. That makes the Frontend Developer’s job unique and highly personalized and the project itself - a complex one.
Technical requirements:
Soft skills:
Proactive, a good team player, empathetic. People that get things done, doers that are willing to get involved not only on the tech side, but in the company’s culture as well.
First and foremost, I went to the headquarters of Acrelec to meet the team, the hiring managerprios and to get a feel of the company’s culture and general requirements for this position.
I knew Andrei in advance. We had previously talked about his future plans, the development areas he’d like to focus on, and also the state of the industry and financial offerings within the market for his type of role.
At that point, after being aware of this new opportunity within Acrelec that fit his profile, we got in touch again and invited him to an informal discussion. An Americano at Starbucks could be a nice way to get updated on the latest developments in someone’s career.
We jumped to the next stage – helping him re-write his CV in a way that better highlights his experience and competencies. I sent over his CV to the company, and he passed to the new interview stages.
He has been working there for almost 3 years.
